Pink?

Heidi's birthday is coming up in a week in a half. So what should be on the cake? Basically, what theme should I go for? She is still too little to really say what she would like, the boys spoke up for her and said a princess cake. Do I do pink? or a princess? What are your thoughts?

I will start to post ideas and maybe a poll. Keep posted.

R2D2

Sam had his 4th birthday almost a month ago, wow...time goes fast. He requested a Star Wars cake. I contemplated on this one for a while and then finally chose R2D2. I feel terrible about this cake....I didn't put all my energy into this one...mostly because when it came time to make R2D2 may energy was gone. But...life is life...and we still had a great time celebrating our little Sam's birthday. And R2D2 tasted great! And he still got BIG smiles! That is way I do this!

baby shower

I just wanted to share that I volunteered to make a cake for a baby shower for a sister in our ward. I had leftover fondant from Sarah and Lee's cake so I thought I would have fun and try some new things. I had a fun time and I really enjoyed seeing the end result. I hope the sisters here did too.

Sarah's & Lee's Wedding

This cake was three tier double layer cake. It was covered in white fondant with fondant overlay daisies. Around the top and bottom tiers was a buttercream pearl border. The ribbon around the middle layer corresponded with the colors of the wedding and with the table settings for the guests. Sarah and Lee also chose to have a figurine on the top of the cake. This added height and a personal touch to their cake.
